![]() ![]() I saw the streamers promoting the exploit saying stuff like “GET ON A BARB OR A SORC NOW AND OPEN ALL THE UNIQUE HELM CHESTS IN HELLTIDES. ![]() It was how blizzard chose to respond to it that was offending.ĭepends. The drop glitch and the people who got it are not offending. That will not happen, since they help generate money for Blizzard. The exploiters who told others to exploit this, however, should be banned. I do not want to ban the players who got these, but the items should be removed from them. Other than the cheats they make themselves, obviously, since they won’t take any action against those who exploited this… “Exploit often, exploit early”. They ban - often without warning - people who use special software because of some medical reason, stating they “do not want cheats in our game”. It is also not right in the bigger picture, since Blizzard by not doing anything here since the exploit was discovered and broadcasted by (their) streamers who now have shown that the ToS is applied differently to some people than others. It is a bug that should be rolled back just like you give back money you receive to your account if the bank by mistake gives you money that is not yours. Offending? It’s not “offending” in the normal sense of the word. They could still do the right thing and delete them but I’ve decided to uninstall ahead of time because if they don’t I’d rather move on to games that take exploiting seriously. The bottom line is Blizzard botched a patch, generated over a hundred exploited uber uniques and refused to remove them permanently ruining balance between players. Personally seasons is just a hamster wheel for hamsters to me. Seasons 1 doesn’t fix the issue because seasons doesn’t affect Eternal Realm and seasons is always opt-in but not mandatory. It’s likely that influential streamers must have exploited the Shako and Blizzard is afraid to upset them by doing the right thing. ![]() This is violating their own TOS by ignoring cheating/exploiting. The Eternal Realm and any level playing field PvP it could have had is forever tainted by exploited godlike helmets that give +4 skills and 10-20% damage reduction (aka Shako = Harlequin Uber Unique).īlizzard said they knew who exploited it and how many, but would not take action to correct it. ![]()
